EXPLORE The First Greenhouse of Its Kind in Massachusetts





With our pioneering greenhouse project, Fruit Fair is proud to introduce Massachusetts' first community-centered produce greenhouse, designed to grow fresh fruits, vegetables, and specialty plants year-round. This innovative space expands our mission of local food access, nutrition security, and sustainable agriculture for Chicopee, Springfield, and Holyoke.


Built with modern growing systems, the Fruit Fair rooftop greenhouse is more than a structure it’s a living, breathing ecosystem. Here, we cultivate produce with care, from leafy greens and herbs to tomatoes, peppers, berries, and rotating seasonal crops. Every plant grown contributes to our goal of offering fresher, healthier food directly to our community.
